BIP SXM attends INTA Leadership Meeting 2018
In the week of November 5th, 2018, two team members of the Bureau for Intellectual Property Sint Maarten (BIP SXM) attended the Leadership Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) in New Orleans. BIP SXM has been a member of INTA since 2016.
The agenda of the meeting was very divers; varying from branding for restaurants, to trademarks in crisis and branding of music concerts to lessons from jazz! Also, topics as artificial intelligence, new technology platforms and the use of social media in trademark protection were highlighted in sessions. All in all, a fascinating program!
The attendees from BIP SXM found the Leadership Meeting to be very educational and experienced networking with other intellectual property professionals from different countries to be useful.
