The Director of the Bureau for Intellectual Property Sint Maarten (the Bureau), Mrs. Vincentia Rosen-Sandiford, participated in the International Trademark Association (INTA) 146th Annual Meeting, held in Atlanta, Georgia from May 18th to May 22nd.
This year's meeting, themed "The Business of Innovation," focused on how creativity, change, and technology are transforming the practices of intellectual property (IP) professionals. The event gathered nearly 10.000 IP experts and practitioners from around the globe to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the IP industry.
During the conference, Mrs. Rosen-Sandiford engaged in various sessions and workshops that emphasized the significance of innovation, such as Artificial Intelligence, in the IP field.
Mrs. Rosen-Sandiford expressed satisfaction with the insights gained from this year's INTA Annual Meeting, asserting that the knowledge acquired will aid the Bureau in further enhancing its expertise and capabilities.
