BIP SXM @USM workshop (part 3)
Continuing our ongoing collaboration with the Business Law program at USM, BIP SXM was pleased to present to its students once again. Each session has provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, and this recent presentation continued the tradition of fostering a deeper understanding of intellectual property rights among future entrepreneurs.
Mrs. Vincentia Rosen-Sandiford, Director of BIP SXM, provided an interactive and insightful session on IP. The presentation covered key topics such as trademarks, copyright, and the importance of protecting these rights in today’s increasingly innovative world. Through real-life examples and an engaging IP quiz, students gained practical knowledge that can be directly applied in any business.
BIP SXM thanks Ms. Florentine Paanakker of Lexwell Attorneys at Law for inviting the Bureau to contribute to this course. Collaborations like these are essential in raising IP awareness. Looking ahead, the Bureau remains committed to expanding its outreach efforts, with the goal of empowering students and young professionals to protect and maximize the value of their IP.
